C.Z. Outfitters in conjunction with Iowa Trophy Whitetail Outfitters (www.juddcooney.com)
is offering summer (2001) Roe deer package hunts in the Czech Republic. The package hunt includes one roe deer license, nonresident
hunting license, English speaking guide/interpreter, B&B style lodging with all food, in country transportation
(including pickup & return to Prague airport), liability and health insurance. The price DOES NOT include your airfare to and from
Prague.
You arrive the day prior to hunt date and leave the day following. The maximum number of hunters per six-day hunt will be 2-3.
The cost of the total hunt package is $ 2850.00 US. Non-hunting companions are welcome on a space available basis for $150.00/day.
Once we receive photocopies of the required personal data (reservation request, passport photo page, copy of your Hunter's safety course card or a valid hunting license and a non-refundable deposit for $ 1000.00) we'll send a written confirmation of your hunt dates, non-resident hunting license number, liability insurance number etc.
The balance for your hunt is due 30 days prior to your arrival. Payment should be made by bank transfer to: C.Z.Outfitters & Consulting, s.r.o. bank account.

Your hunt package allows you to take a Roe deer buck that score up to 105 points which is considered a very good trophy by European standards. Should you luck into an exceptional buck there would be an additional trophy fee of:
$ 35 for each point between 105 and 120
$ 40 for each point between 120 and 130
$ 60 for each point over 130
Points are figured on the CIC (International Council For Hunting and Game Preservation) method of scoring which takes into consideration length of antler material, mass, weight, color, conformation etc.
The package price of your hunt DOES NOT include the cost of packing, disinfecting and shipping a trophy to your residence. Taxidermy costs are approximately $ 200.00 for a head mount and $ 50.00 for a European bleached skull mount.
Privately managed hunting areas and lodging is approximately 150 miles from the Prague airport. The season for roe deer runs from May 16th through September 30th. We hunt mornings and evenings and sightsee during the midday lull. During the peak of the rut, midday may be an excellent time for calling in roe deer bucks, if the weather cooperates so we maintain a flexible hunting schedule to give you the best chance at a trophy buck.
Centerfire rifles are the only legal method of hunting big game in the Czech Republic.
